Entry level 'compact' GSM payphone

Logotel Media has released its latest GSM offering to the market - an entry-level GSM community payphone dubbed 'Talk-2-Me Compact'. An extension of the company's community phone offerings, it is designed for applications in smaller communities and rural areas.

David Dugmore, director, Logotel Media says, "The current offerings of briefcase style models have been a huge success for the larger traffic clients, however the need still exists to offer a device for the smaller user, hence the release of the Compact."

The Talk-2-Me Compact community phone is a portable GSM metering device enabling one GSM voice line. With identical software protocols and functionality as the bigger brother Talk2Me units, including SMS remote management and Purse Credit System, Dugmore believes the product will be attractive to the smaller entrepreneurs, operating with smaller volumes of traffic. It resells at R4200 excluding VAT, which Dugmore believes is 'extremely affordable - and a very cost effective way to start up a small business'.
