Micro-miniature axial fuses

29 August 2001 Circuit & System Protection

Newly appointed and future new distributors for British-based Camden Electronics now have the opportunity to offer their electronics industry customers a new range of very fast-acting micro-miniature axial fuses. For protecting POB-mounted components and circuits, the new CF247OFP Series fuses are 2,4 x 7 mm micro-miniature axial types offering electrical characteristics of 5 s maximum blowing time at 200% and 4 hours minimum blowing time at 100%. There are 34 models in the range, providing ratings from 100 mA to 10 A at 125 V. The new fuses are UL approved and have an epoxy-coated body and tin-plated copper solder leads. Specifications include interrupt current of 50 A at 125 V a.c., an operating temperature range from -55 to +125°C and a soldering temperature of 260°C for a maximum of 10 s.
