Embedded Antenna Design (EAD) has developed an innovative new antenna for GPS applications. The GPS-Stubby is an active stub antenna designed for mobile terminals requiring an external GPS antenna.
With effective gain of approximately 26 dB thanks to an integrated LNA, the antenna operates in compact dimensions of 67 mm in height and 18,5 mm in diameter. It is housed in a robust sheath and can be supplied with a straight or right angle SMA male connector.
The GPS-Stubby is ideal for a number of applications including telematics, tracking and remote monitoring and is equipped to mount directly to the many terminals and devices that have an SMA GPS connector.
