iWOW’s TR-900 is a cost-effective, full-featured GSM/GPRS module that provides a compact solution for swift system integration. It is highly compatible with new and existing platforms which require GSM/GPRS functionalities and is suitable for a wide range of machine-to-machine (M2M) applications.
Designed with enhanced power management, the module automatically enters a reduced operational state when idle, allowing for optimised power consumption. It also supports multiplexing protocol, allowing the creation of virtual ports that can be used to perform various GSM/GPRS activities concurrently.
Running on the Nucleus realtime operating system (RTOS), the TR-900 is designed to support composite software applications. It features TCP/IP, UDP/IP and FTP for real-time data transfer via GPRS and is commonly used for remote monitoring.
Multiple configurations are available to provide greater flexibility in catering to customers’ needs. Optional features include MMS stack and embedded programming. Supporting quad-band radio technology, the TR-900 is targeted at a range of applications including automated meter reading and fleet management.
