The PMA 7110 from Infineon is a low-power embedded 8-bit MCU and wireless ASK/FSK UHF single-channel transmitter, making it a single-chip solution suited for industrial and consumer applications such as remote controls, home automation systems, security and alarm systems, and automatic meter reading. The transmitter covers the 315/434/868/915 MHz frequency bands, and contains a fully integrated VCO, a PLL synthesiser, an ASK/FSK modulator and an efficient power amplifier. The end product’s battery life is extended due to an advanced power control system, which enables very low power consumption. The device features an 8051 microcontroller and a 3-channel differential 10-bit ADC, and operates over the voltage range 1,9 to 3,6 V.
