Window mount antennas for WiFi and WiMAX

9 July 2008 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Poynting Antennas has released a range of window mount antennas, mitigating the need for a mounting pole or having to position the antenna on a wall.

The PANL-A0033, PANL-A0034 and PANL-A0035 are directional antennas for both indoor and outdoor use. Each antenna is equipped with a universal ball bracket for easy azimuth and elevation adjustment. They can be mounted on either the interior of a window with the use of the suction pads or the suction pads can be removed for direct wall mounting. The antenna is provided with a 2 metre cable with an SMA (male) connector for fitment to devices using the SMA (female) connector.

The A0033 is a 14 dBi gain, 2,3–2,7 GHz antenna for WiFi and WiMAX applications. The A0034 is a 14 dBi gain, 3,3-3,8 GHz antenna for WiMAX applications. Lastly, the A0035 is a 5,15–5,875 GHz antenna with a gain of 16 dBi for WiFi applications.

All three antennas conform to the ETSI sidelobe and cross-polarisation specifications and are ROHS compliant.
