Z-Communications has introduced a new lead-free, RoHS compliant, narrow-band coaxial resonator oscillator in L band (1898 to 1902 MHz) offering an ultra-low phase noise performance of -121 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. This unique design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 6 MHz/V and covers the band between 0,5 and 4,5 V. The CRO1900B-LF is designed to deliver 8 dBm output power at 8 V d.c. supply while drawing 41 mA over the operating temperature range of -15°C to 65°C. This VCO is ideally suited for narrow-band applications that require high output power and excellent phase noise performance. It is supplied in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 13 x 13 x 5,6 mm. This package is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow, and is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
