Z-Communications has introduced its new lead-free, RoHS-compliant, coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO3617B-LF) in C band (3515 to 3720 MHz) featuring low phase noise performance of -108 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset from the carrier over 200 MHz.
This wide-band design offers tuning linearity with a typical tuning sensitivity of 15 MHz/V and covers the entire band between 0,5 to 18 V. This VCO is designed to operate at 8 V d.c. supply while drawing 30 mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C.
The CRO3617B-LF is suited for applications that require signal stability, tuning linearity, and low phase noise performance. It comes in a Z-Communications Mini package that measures 13 x 13 x 6 mm, and is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
