Amphenol Antel offers unique antenna designs and quality construction to help ensure consistent performance and high durability to improve radio network performance. The company says that its 3T antenna designs are easily adaptable to new applications, and it offers over 500 different models.

These include: log-periodic dipole antennas; panel antennas for vertical and dual-polarised applications; dual-band antennas for vertical and dual-polarised applications; omni-directional antennas; omni antennas with reflectors; in-building antennas; and antennas for concealment configurations.

The basis of Amphenol's antenna design is a non-colinear, corporate feed assembly, which allows access to each radiating element of the antenna. The company refers to this as 'True Transmission Line Technology' or 3T.

Antenna designs that use a co-linear approach lose consistency as the RF signal moves away from the connector. The 3T non-colinear design provides broad bandwidth and consistent performance across the band. It also allows full control of the phase and amplitude of the radiation patterns, making it possible to achieve specific results in electrical downtilt, null fill and lobe suppression.

In all Amphenol Antel designs, brass feedlines are used for transmission and air is used as insulation. Thus offering a number of advantages - including reliable performance, long service life and low internal signal loss.
