Half-wave folded dipole antenna for VHF

Webb Industries, a company that is continuously introducing innovative products, has now launched a new half-wave, folded dipole antenna that performs the functions of two antennas in its FDC range of folded dipoles. The new Webb FDC150 antenna covers the whole VHF band, 138 MHz to 174 MHz.

The antenna, which is supplied with a mounting boom and clamp, can be stacked and fed with a matching phasing harness for increased gain. All metal parts on the antenna are DC-grounded.

According to Webb's Paul Richards, the major advantage of the FDC150 is that it performs the function of two antennas, thereby creating efficiencies and saving costs, especially for applications where several antennas are used within this range.
