Z-Communications developed the V582ME18 for demanding low noise mobile communication applications. This miniature VCO generates frequencies between 1020 and 1100 MHz within a control voltage range of 1 to 4 V d.c., making it ideal for quick integration into PLLs where the error voltage can be taken directly from the IC's charge pump circuitry. In addition, it exhibits a clean spectral signal of -110 dBc/Hz, typically, at 10 kHz offset. Nominal output power is 10,5 dBm into 50 Ω, while operating off 5 V d.c. and drawing 32 mA. Linear tuning sensitivity is 49 MHz/V.
