A-Info announced the release of the new LB-DG diagonal horn antennas which can cover frequencies from 0,75 to 220 GHz. The antennas are linearly polarised and provide a symmetrical radiation pattern with extremely low side-lobes of -30 dB typically. The typical cross polarisation isolation on the LB-DG series is -40 dB.
This horn antenna superficially looks like a pyramidal horn with a square output aperture. On closer inspection, however, the square output aperture is seen to be rotated 45 degrees relative to the waveguide. The antennas have a low VSWR of around 1,25:1 maximum for the type A with waveguide launcher and high gain of 15-25 dBi, depending on the frequency model.
These horn antennas are ideally suited for illumination of anechoic chambers, antenna far field tests, radar cross section (RCS) measurements and other related applications. They are small in size and light in weight, and come at a competitive price.
