Optimised for secure and reliable wireless performance, it is ideal for OEMs of mission-critical devices and sensors that need to get their wireless design to market quickly. Featuring maximum output power for the 900 MHz spectrum (1 Watt/30 dBm), 256-bit AES encryption, and the DigiMesh networking protocol, the module provides high RF performance and obstacle penetration for challenging environments. Because the new module adheres to the same surface mount footprint as other XBee modules, OEMs have the flexibility to easily switch to other frequencies or protocols.
