Skytraq’s S2525G2F offers GPS+GLONASS positioning to provide increased satellite availability for positioning in challenging environments. It offers 24 tracking channels of L1 GPS and GLONASS code and carrier phase tracking for increased positioning accuracy and availability. The chip features an 88-channel GPS receiver with fast time to first fix and -145 dBm cold start sensitivity. Its high cold start sensitivity allows it to acquire, track and obtain position fixes autonomously in difficult weak signal environment. The receiver’s -159 dBm navigation sensitivity allows continuous position coverage in nearly all application environments. The receiver is suitable for in-vehicle navigation systems that require high performance, continuous navigation and low cost.
