The QPC8015Q from Qorvo is an SPDT (single-pole double-throw) switch that operates from 617 to 6000 MHz. It can handle an input power of 26 dBm, has an insertion loss of less than 0,3 dB and provides an isolation of up to 41 dB.
The switch is controlled by a 1-bit GPIO and has a switching speed of 2500 ns. It requires a DC supply of 2,4 to 5,5 V, consumes less than 50 µA of current and does not need blocking capacitors on the RF ports. It has been designed for modulation schemes up to 6 GHz covering n77/78/79 5G-NR bands and V2X (vehicle-to-anything) communications.
The QPC8015Q is available in a 6-pin package that measures 1,10 x 0,70 x 0,59 mm, with performance optimised for low-power routing and diversity applications. This RoHS-compliant switch is also AEC-Q 100 Grade 3 qualified and is ideal for automotive telematics modules, multi-mode GSM, EDGE, WCDMA and LTE receive applications.
