Surclean Screenclean 100 is a high-performance stencil cleaning solvent formulated from a carefully balanced propylene glycol ether blend. It delivers fast, effective removal of solder paste and adhesive residues, including material that has dried or hardened on the stencil surface. Screenclean 100 quickly softens and dissolves the resins and rosins commonly used in solder pastes and adhesives, restoring stencils to a print-ready condition.
The solvent evaporates completely, leaving a clean surface with minimal residue, which is clear and non-tacky, ensuring excellent compatibility with elastomers, rubbers, industrial finishes and the screen adhesives used on mesh-backed framed stencils. This makes Screenclean 100 particularly suitable for frequent manual cleaning between prints.
Screenclean 100 is also recommended for use in automated stencil printers equipped with under-stencil paper roll cleaning systems, providing reliable performance in both manual and automated cleaning processes. It is available in hand sprayers and bulk packaging to suit different production environments.
Screenclean 100 is non-ozone depleting, fully biodegradable and does not bioaccumulate. With low toxicity, low odour and a high flashpoint, it offers a safer and effective solution for stencil cleaning.
