The Ersa i-Con Vario 4 is a multi-function soldering station for professional soldering and desoldering processes. It has been designed for applications in industrial production, repair operations and laboratory environments.
Up to four soldering and desoldering tools can be connected to the supply unit and operated together. Most tools can be activated by simply pressing the i-Op rotary encoder, while some, e.g. the i-Tool or the Chip Tool Vario, are automatically activated when they are taken from the holder.
The i-Con Vario 4 comes with two serial interfaces, a USB port and ports for connecting to a PC, other control units, a soldering fume extractor or even a heating plate. A microSD card or the i-Set Tool Vario can be used to save the station’s settings, either to restore them to the same unit or transfer them to other stations.
