Bourns announced the release of a new surge protection product model TISP4G024L1W – for protecting ADSL, VDSL and G.Fast interfaces.
The xDSL protector is designed to be placed between the xDSL line driver IC and the transformer, protecting the line driver from over-voltage conditions. The low capacitance variation of the device (0,02 pF) ensures minimal impact to the signal integrity of the high-speed interface the device is protecting.
The TISP4G024L1W has a surge capability of 30 A (8/20 μs), assisting in compliance with international standards such as ITU-T K.20, K.21 or K.45, Telcordia GR-1089-CORE and YD/T for xDSL interfaces.
