Coilcraft’s POE300F flyback transformer family is designed to meet IEEE 802.3at-2009 standards for PoE Plus (Power over Ethernet Plus) applications sourcing up to 30 Watts. Common applications include VoIP telephones, IP cameras with pan tilt and zoom (PTZ), wireless access points, network routers and remote Ethernet switches.
The transformers operate at 250 kHz with 36 to 72 V input, and provide 1500 VRMS primary-to-secondary isolation (500 VRMS primary-to-auxiliary). They feature RoHS compliant tin-silver over tin over nickel over phosphor bronze terminations, and offer a maximum reflow temperature of 260°C.
As with all Coilcraft parts, free evaluation samples and complete technical specifications are available, in addition to a designer’s kit (C398) that contains three samples of each of the series’ five values.
