RF Micro Devices announced the introduction of three new power amplifiers (PAs) for high-frequency, point-to-point radio applications. The RFPA1002, RFPA1003 and RFPA1702 deliver more than 1 W RF output power in the 10 GHz to 20 GHz frequency bands and targets cellular backhaul and other markets.
Each of the high-frequency gallium arsenide (GaAs) PAs is packaged in a 6 x 6 mm QFN. In addition to the point-to-point radio market, they are well suited for satellite communications, military radar and electronic warfare applications.
