IDE upgraded, extends ARM support

Atollic has upgraded its award-winning TrueSTUDIO for ARM product to version 3.0. In addition to numerous improvements, the software will now support the NXP LPC1000 family of Cortex-M0 and Cortex-M3 processors. Device support has also been extended to Infineon’s XMC4000 Cortex-M4 devices and upgraded support is available for STMicroelectronics’ STM32 range.

New features of the IDE include a redesigned user interface that is more intuitive to C/C++ developers, as well as improved real-time interrupt tracing and a major upgrade of the GNU command line tools. Execution time profiling now presents information using bar charts. The new release boasts an upgraded ECLIPSE platform to the latest ‘Indigo’ release, as well as upgraded TrueINSPECTOR, TrueANALYZER and TrueVERIFIER add-on products.
