The Groundcheck from NEFAB is a dependable, easy to use test mechanism for personnel grounding devices. The tester indicates a pass with a visible and audible signal, while a fail (high or low) is indicated by a visible signal only. The instrument’s test range is from 750 kΩ to 35 MΩ and accuracy is within ±10%. Connection options include a 7 mm press stud, 4 mm plug socket and 6 mm stud for alligator clips. The tester complies with IEC 61340-5-1 and is CE compliant.
The Groundcheck can also be deployed in combination with a backplate to create a central grounding testing station at the entrance to electrostatic protected areas. The backplate is printed with clear test instructions and includes 7 and 10 mm connecting points for grounding cords, as well as a 10 mm press stud for connection to the footplate.
