Aavid Thermalloy offers a comprehensive line of ball grid array (BGA) cooling solutions. This line of heatsinks is compatible with widely used semiconductor BGA packages and provides an assortment of cooling capabilities and attachment methods.
The products are available for various semiconductor device sizes and feature four methods to attach the heatsink to the BGA device: economical thermal tape, space saving push pins, clips that eliminate the need for PCB mounting holes and a solder anchor with wire spring clip to allow quick assembly and rework without tools.
