Knitter-switch has announced a new range of rotary encoders designed to replace traditional rotary potentiometers in a wide range of applications. The MERP12 range will interest designers working on projects where the latest type of input device for scroll menus is required.
MERP 12 encoders feature an LED illuminated actuator which can be single- or multicoloured and can be specified with or without a pushbutton action.
The encoders have a typical lifetime of 30 000 operations and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
