Agilent Technologies together with official local distributor, Concilium Technologies, has announced the availability of its L Series high-performance electromechanical switches operating up to 26,5 GHz and with an operating life of 2 million cycles.
The L Series features terminated and un-terminated SP4T and SP6T multiport switches as well as a transfer switch. Furthermore, they guarantee insertion loss repeatability of less than 0,03 dB throughout the 2-million-cycle operating life. This capability not only minimises measurement uncertainty, but also reduces the downtime for recalibration and improves testing efficiency.
Comments Andrew Lees, internal sales team leader at Concilium Technologies: "Today's designers, who are involved with the automated testing of devices, modules, sub systems or complete systems, undoubtedly require a reliable means of switching signals either into the device under test (DUT), or route signals out of the DUT, to measurement equipment.
"This in turn not only saves time and expensive test resources, but also ensures that every measurement is made in an identical fashion - exceptional repeatability is, therefore, also very important. Agilent supplies these important building blocks at a competitive pricing while still offering high performance."
Concilium has trained application engineers who understand the needs of the automated test system designer and can assist with the configuration and specification of switching sub systems to ensure that needs are met and ROI is optimised.
