Epcos' SIFI-G and SIFI-H two-line filters enhance the company's successful SIFI-A to E series. The new devices with smaller dimensions are designed for currents of up to 36 A and a climatic category of up to 100°C.
The SIFI-H (B84113H) series has now also obtained UL/cUL approval. This means that SIFI-H and SIFI-G now bear the three important certification marks - UL, cUL and ENEC, which simplifies release of the end products on the European and US markets.
Typical applications for the filters are switched-mode power supplies in telecoms equipment such as switches and transmission equipment. Other applications include IT systems, such as servers, hubs or routers, as well as in industrial electronics and medical technology.
