Mean Well has introduced a new member to its line of enclosed type DC-DC products (the SD series). The new SD-15 series are 15 W DC-DC converters that comply with LVD and EMC directives and bear the CE mark. With a built-in EMI filter, low ripple noise is ensured.
Featuring 2:1 wide DC input range and 3000 V d.c. input/output isolation, the SD-15 securely transfers a wide range of DC input voltage values into a stable DC output. The 79 x 51 x 28 mm free air convection-cooled miniature design also gives end users the advantage of saving on installation space.
With the standard functions of short circuit, overload, and over-voltage protection, the SD-15 is well-suited for a wide variety of applications, from general electrical engineering usage, automotive, security, to all kinds of battery back-up applications.
