Epcos has added the B82732F and B82733F series to its range of current-compensated chokes. The new series features one of the best inductance/rated current ratios worldwide. High leakage inductance makes the chokes well-suited for interference suppression in switch-mode power supplies, lamp ballasts and a host of applications in industrial electronics.
Due to their coated frame cores and multichamber coil formers, a high natural resonant frequency is obtained. Current-compensated chokes of series B82732F are designed for currents from 0,5 to 1,7 A with inductances from 10 to 100 mH. Inherent resistance ranges from 260 to 2840 mΩ. Series B82733F covers the current range from 0,75 to 2,9 A with inherent resistances from 130 to 1700 mΩ. Inductance ratings are identical with those of series B82732F.
The chokes are designed for an operating voltage of 250 V a.c. The footprint measures 24 x 14 mm with an insertion height of 14 mm.
