EMI filter for 48 V power input

20 October 2004 Circuit & System Protection

The 48 V d.c. power input for telecommunications applications is the main target of Spectrum Control's newly developed series of EMI-filters. Complementing the company's existing comprehensive range of standard AC and DC filters, the new series, shown in its latest EMI Power Filter catalogue, addresses the increased power requirements of telecom systems and complies with the related specifications for indoor and outdoor applications.

Voltage ratings from 24 V to 250 V and current up to 200 A can be accommodated, offering superior insertion loss over the frequency range of 150 kHz to 10 GHz. The new catalogue displays a wide selection of products and also addresses military, traffic controls, secure communications, instrumentation, medical and industrial use.

Spectrum Control says it also offers custom designs, fast turnaround of prototypes, approvals to UL, CSA and TUV as well as value added services where additional features and components can be included upon request.
