EBV-Electrolink has appointed Spectron Electronics as an EBV-Electrolink sub agent. As the electronics industry in South Africa continues to evolve, EBV-Electrolink says that it is proud to announce that Spectron Electronics is now an EBV-Electrolink sub agent.
The company says that it is committed to address the challenges associated with the country's unique history, and views the partnership with Spectron as a major initiative in supporting government's policy of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE). The deal will undoubtedly fill the current vacuum that exists for local customers to fulfil affirmative action policies in terms of procurement.

EBV-Electrolink continues to outpace the market in RSA for semiconductor distribution, by providing a unique world class service to South African customers and with the conclusion of the new agreement with Spectron, says that it strongly believes that this will further enhance EBV's service and support to the local electronics industry.
Despite many historical difficulties, Spectron has nevertheless firmly established itself as a niche distributor and prides itself in being a kitting specialist. With its new association with EBV-Electrolink it now stands to broaden its market share and rapidly expand its operations throughout RSA. The arrangement will help Spectron to firmly establish its position as a quality, service-orientated distributor, and now complemented by access to EBV's choice semiconductor manufacturer line card.
EBV places special emphasis on a superior product portfolio and takes pride in having the best partners and an in depth knowledge of their technologies. It has clear-access to over 50 000 products and enhanced applications expertise when it comes to solutions - an excellent flow between the manufacturer and itself. It is also backed by an advanced logistics service.
