ERNI’s MicroCon cable assembly offering includes ribbon cables with 0,4 mm pitch, for compact and robust cable-to-board interconnection.
Large pre-alignment guides ease mating and ensure polarisation of the connectors, with integrated locking latches guaranteeing a secure connection even under vibration. These cable assemblies are compatible with ERNI’s established MicroCon male connector range.
The cables connect to a printed circuit board via a double-row connector with 0,8 mm pitch, that enters the board at right angles to the ribbon. They can transport data at rates up to 3 Gbps and each AWG #34 conductor can carry up to 0,5 A.
