Wolf Safety has updated its 'ATEX Explained' poster guide, which reviews the main obligations of the upcoming ATEX Workplace Directive, 99/92/EC, for all European hazardous area sites. It suggests that investment in compliant equipment now can save risk assessment costs on non-ATEX apparatus still in use on sites. The directive stipulates minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres.
