Wavetek's Pay-per-Procedure is a unique service that now makes it easier for users of Wavetek Portocal-II or 9010 automated calibration software to access calibration procedures. Now, when Portocal-II or 9010 users are presented with a type of instrument they have not calibrated before they can quickly access a library of some 2000 fully tested and documented procedures via the website at www.wavetech.com/products/ppp.html
The Pay-per-Procedure facility on the Wavetek website has a simple-to-use search engine that allows the user to find procedures for a specific instrument by selecting the manu- facturer or model number. Once found the procedure can be added to a virtual shopping basket. When the user has finished with the selection, payment can be made on-line via credit card. These transactions are protected by security handling systems to protect the credit card details. After the credit card transaction has been confirmed, the selected procedures will be immediately available for download into Portocal-II or 9010 software.
As an ISO 9000 registered organisation, Wavetek says all its calibration procedures are written in a highly structured manner by experienced calibration engineers. Each procedure is fully tested and documented for the appropriate unit-under-test and meets the requirements of the manufacturer's calibration methods.
