Vishay has released a new range of SuperTan wet tantalum capacitors. These capacitors offer a hermetic seal, an extended range and improved vibration capability.
Available in axial, standard tin/lead (SnPb) and 100% tin terminations, these model STH tantalum-case electrolytic capacitors provide all the advantages of Vishay’s existing SuperTan extended series, while now offering the improved vibration capability. This new series is capable of withstanding thermal shock of up to 300 cycles.
With an operating temperature range of -55 to 125°C, with voltage derating, these capacitors have been designed especially for avionics and aerospace applications.
