The Quint Power family from Phoenix Contact has been extended to include a new powerful power supply unit (PSU) with 110 V d.c. output. It is suitable for applications from 110 V to 135 V d.c., meaning that just one device can be used to supply applications that would otherwise require several devices to be connected in series. This saves space in a control cabinet and reduces wiring effort.
Furthermore, the power supply has received safety approval in accordance with EN, IEC, UL 61010-1 and 61010-2-201. It is also certified in accordance with UL HazLoc Class 1, Division 2 for potentially explosive areas and its DNV GL approval means that it can also be used in marine applications. A static and dynamic boost, SFB technology and comprehensive signalling are characteristic features of the Quint Power family of power supplies. Thanks to their wide temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, the devices support flexible use.
