The Cherry Blossom is a small form factor single-board computer (SBC), proudly South African designed and manufactured, starting at a moderate speed of 600 MHz and extending up to 1 GHz.
Designed for industrial applications supporting Debian Linux, the tiny board has onboard memory of 4 GB Flash and 512 MB RAM, plus the option for an SD card when you need to expand the memory or if you just need space for logging data. A host of peripherals are accessible through break-out connectors, as well as companion boards for HDMI, LCD, LTE , Wi-Fi , LAN and more. For those who like the Beagle Bone Black, the Cherry Blossom has a companion board specifically laid out to support this look and feel as well.
Because the Cherry Blossom is proudly made in SA, it is readily available and will have a much longer lifespan with ongoing support compared to other SBCs, ensuring that customers’ projects can last longer and saving them redesign costs. The Cherry Blossom has had great success in the mining industry, networking and high-site management.
