Cable assemblies have quick turn-around time
12 March 2003
Interconnection
Omnilyne offers a wide variety of cable assemblies for the networking, electronics and electrical industries. Most of these assemblies have a quick turn-around time as connectors and multicore cables (screened and unscreened) are available off-the-shelf, says the company.
Various types of connectors are used. These vary from the traditional 'computer' types for networking and data transmission, to miniature and standard military type connectors, used for a wide variety of applications that range from audio and sound, to machine and equipment control.
Omnilyne supplies all 'traditional' computer type cable assemblies with a test certificate, which bears a unique test number applicable to that particular assembly only. Where custom type cable assemblies are to be manufactured specifically to customer requirements, a sample will be manufactured first, and submitted for evaluation and approval, and the necessary changes, if any, are made prior to full production.
