The FKC-RF Combicon spring cage plug components from Phoenix Contact provide a new locking system: quick plug locking using the 'click 'n lock' principle. When one inserts the plug into the base terminal, the snap flanges on the sides lock into the moulded mounting noses with an audible click. There is protection against unintentionally pulling out the plug. To quickly unlock the plug, one simply pushes down on the ergonomically designed locking lever and the plug is withdrawn from the base terminal.
This tool-free, quick one-handed operation is available both in the FKC spring cage plug family and in the MSTB screw plug family in horizontal, vertical, and frontal designs in 5,00 and 5,08 mm pitch and in 2 to 16-pin versions with matching horizontal and vertical base terminals.
