The Links Analogue Trouble-Shooter Plus from ABI Electronics offers a range of test techniques for diagnosing faults on virtually any kind of analog PCB. According to the company, its most powerful feature is the ability to functionally test analog ICs in-circuit. By simply clipping over the device to be tested and entering the device number, test results are displayed in a clear and comprehensive manner. Automatic clip positioning and automatic circuit compensation simplify use regardless of the IC configuration and size. In-built circuit analysis tracks down component value errors in addition to faulty parts. Other test functions include a transistor tester, resistance meter and high specification V-I tester.
