Omron's range of E2EL stainless steel proximity switches are available in both short and long bodied versions, with diameters from 6,5 mm (2 mm sensing distance) to 18 mm (8 mm sensing distance).
Operating between 10-35 V d.c with a current consumption of 15 mA max at 24 V d.c., the range is equipped with a yellow LED operation indicator. The switches have short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, and are available in pre-wired and connector types.
The sensors are rated to IP67 (EN60947-1) making them ideal for use in plants where equipment requires regular hosing down, as occurs in the food and beverage industry. The range is fully CE-compliant and conforms to EMC directive EN 60947-5-2.
