Recom has launched its next-generation of 3 W, regulated, DC-DC converters, which combine wide input voltage range and industrial temperature operation in a compact, low-profile package.
Ideal for space-critical, rack mounted applications, the RW series of single-output, 3 W DC-DC converters feature a 2:1 input voltage range, and are fully pin-compatible with the 24-pin industry standard.
RW converters provide full protection against continuous short circuit and guarantee full 3 W specification at operation temperatures, ranging from -25 to +71°C, without derating. Efficiency levels at full load are up to 82%, depending on the device chosen. Respective input ranges are 4,5-9, 9-18, 18-36 and 36-72 V. Each model is supplied as a single-ended output of 5, 9, 12 and 15 V. The converter case is rated for flammability in accordance with UL-94 V-0.
