Molex’s family of modular jacks is available in low profile and ultra low profile right angle versions to meet the market’s demand for short stacking heights. The Molex Series 43249 low profile right angle jack is 12,8 mm tall with a 20,6 mm long body and the Molex Series 43202 ultra low profile right angle jack is 10,3 mm tall with an 18 mm long body. Both series are surface mount compatible and offer a fully- shielded option on the eight circuit sizes for EMI/RFI protection. Applications include telephones, modems, faxes, LANs, security systems, interactive multimedia set-top boxes, televisions, cellular phones, mobile/portable two-way radios and alarm systems.
Like Molex’s entire family of modular jacks they are manufactured by a fully-automated assembly process and are 100% tested for hi-pot, continuity and tail position. Both series comply with FCC regulations for dimensional, tolerance and gold plating requirements and are UL approved. A covered top minimises the risk of an electrical short to panel or adjacent PCB in densely packaged equipment.
