High-performance pulse-/pattern generator

The Agilent 81134A pulse-/pattern generator, 3,35 GHz, two channel is the company's next generation pulse-/pattern generator family. When timing and performance is critical, the fast rise times and low jitter of this instrument allow for the precise characterisation of devices and minimise the influence of jitter injection by the source.
Like its predecessor the Agilent 8133A, the new 81134A sets standards for high-speed applications where timing is critical and high performance is required. With its 4 kB memory and hardware PRBS generation complying to the most commonly used standards the 81134A is an ideal data and pattern source particularly for eye diagram measurements.
Full control over the signal integrity of clock and data signals provides the Delay Control Input. The amount and shape of signal jitter can be varied to emulate real world signals. The variable cross-over feature provides additional control over the signal performance.
In the Graphical User Interface all necessary parameters can be easily accessed and modified. Via GPIB, LAN and USB the 81134A can be remote controlled by the Remote Graphical User Interface and the standard SCPI commands.
