Bourns has added a contacting encoder to its family of encoder products. The PEC11 is available in 12, 18 and 24 ppr (pulses per revolution) and has a push momentary switch option. Detented versions are also available. This 12 mm model has a flatted metal shaft and metal bushing.
The PEC11 has a rotational life of 30 000 cycles. Applications for this product include audio equipment, radio, household electric appliances, instrumentation and test equipment and communications equipment.
