The 30 Watt JCM30, a new addition to XP Power’s range of compact low-power DC-DC converters, comes in a 2,54 x 2,54 cm encapsulated case for direct mounting onto a printed circuit board. The converter accommodates a wide 2:1 input voltage range, accepting either 9 – 18 V, 18 – 36 V or 36 - 75 V, covering the nominal inputs of +12, +24 or +48 V d.c.
Single-output models provide +3,3 V, +5 V, +12 V or +15 V d.c., while the dual-outputs offer ±5, ±12 or ±15 V d.c. All outputs are fully regulated to within ±0,5% over all input and load conditions for the single-output models and less than ±1,0% for the dual outputs.
The JCM30 can operate at full output power from -40°C to +100°C, and full load at 55°C, without derating. The converters feature an input-to-output and input/output-to-case isolation of 1600 V d.c. for up to 1 minute. These models feature a remote on/off control line that can be used to control the output rails or to sequence startup procedures. All units feature over-voltage and continuous short circuit protection, and come with a three-year warranty.
