The ZM-series of subminiature snap switches from C&K represents a further addition to its broad snap switch range. The ZM series switches have a reliable snap-acting mechanism that provides for a mechanical life rating of 100 000 cycles and an electrical rating, under load, of 15 000 cycles. The contact rating of 0,2/60 V d.c. and 3 A/125 V a.c., with initial contact resistance of 30 mOhm, and an operating force of 150 grams. A low operating force version is also available.
Featuring industry standard package size and footprint, various PCB terminal and actuators are offered. ZM-series switches are wave-soldering process compatible. Actuators available are straight lever, simulated roller and pin-plunger.
Typical applications for the ZM-series include use in communications equipment, security and alarm systems, test gear, consumer electronics products, and as a position detection switch for indicating whether PCBs have been correctly engaged in rack systems.
