Fibre-optic cable routing systems

13 March 2002 Interconnection

Panduit's FiberRunner 4 x 4 and 12 x 4 routing systems for fibre-optic cable provides effective routing, segregation and protection of fibre-optic cabling between and around distribution frames, terminal devices and splice enclosures. As a part of the complete Panduit fibre distribution system, the FiberRunner system is designed for seamless integration with other Panduit routing systems and products, including FiberRunner 6 x 4 routing system, Fiber-Duct 2 x 2 and 4 x 4 routing systems and Opticom HD fibre distribution products.

The FiberRunner routing system brings a variety of features and benefits to users. These include a robust system that handles large capacity requirements and hinged and split covers enabling fast and easy access to cable for moves, adds and changes. The system also incorporates Panduit QuikLock couplers and mounting brackets, which allow each component to be connected in less than five seconds for timesaving installation.

For maximum versatility of application, the FiberRunner system also allows multiple spill-out options, including a spill-over fitting, a three-sided trumpet for open access, inner duct transition to corrugated tubing and transition to Panduit FiberRunner 6 x 4 routing system or Fiber-Duct 2 x 2 or 4 x 4 slotted or solid wall duct.
