Mimic Components offers a wide range of SMC IP67 enclosures which are ideal for field instrumentation in almost any environment. The window allows viewing of the equipment inside and there is a double door system so that equipment can be mounted behind the glass door.
The company says these offer beneficial quality and value over traditional steel enclosures. The SMC provides good insulation against heat and cold and can be used instead of stainless steel in coastal applications, chemical plants etc. For outside conditions, the temperature inside does not vary as much as steel. They are available with special locks for added security.
