DesignSpark website gets an upgrade

9 November 2016 News

RS Components has upgraded its popular DesignSpark community website, which is used by hundreds of thousands of engineers involved in developing electronics, mechanical and automation designs. The new version of the site, available at www.designspark.com, features a fresh look and feel, as well as offering significant improvements to its functionality.

Based on feedback from the continuously growing DesignSpark community – now totalling more than 460 000 users – the site now offers easier navigation, enabling users to find content more easily, as well as providing quicker purchasing options via the local RS website.

The new site also provides an easier process for engineers to upload content. For example, users can now create and view drafts of their work before publishing it online. The site’s news feature also allows manufacturers to post content on their latest products much more easily, meaning they can gauge interest in new developments at the earliest stage. In addition, complementing its expansive electronics design content, the site will also feature a wide range of technical articles related to the world of automation.
