The ESR10 Micro from ETA is a modern solid state relay in the well-proven plug-in enclosure of a mechanical relay. Designed for automotive applications, it functions as a high-side switch installed between the battery’s positive pole and the load. The relay is open in standard condition (without control signal) and is able to switch resistive and inductive loads.
The relay supports the reduction of CO2 emissions thanks to its very low holding current and a very low internal resistance. Its robust design is resistant against environmental influences such as dust, humidity, shock and vibration. Switching occurs without a sound, and the ESR10 Micro can forward an amplified PWM signal. It is protected against reverse polarity.
